A report by Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR) reveals that 44 percent of the total population in Pakistan is without access to safe drinking water whereas 90% of the rural population lacks access to clean water. Populations that do not have access to clean water experience many issues from disease to shortened life spans.
